CAMP RULES & GOOD-TO-KNOWS
Before you make your great escape – get to know our camp rules, check-in times & ‘good-to-know’s.

OFF GRID CAMP
CHECK-INS & OUTS
- Arrivals between 4 & 6pm.
- Departures by 11am.
- Cars can be parked on site.
SITE RULES
- The fire pit and barbecue are the designated places to make fires on site, don’t make fires anywhere else.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome, but PLEASE clear up after them.
- No massive speaker rigs unless you’ve gotten our permission first.
- Any damage done to our lovely Off Grid Camp or any of our farm will need to be put right either with money or labour.
YOUR DEPOSIT
- Your £50 deposit will only be reimbursed to you if your group leaves the site clean, tidy, undamaged, beautiful & glorious – just as you found it!
- This includes correctly using the rubbish & recycling points provided, if one of our team has to go through your waste & sort it, you’ll lose your deposit.
FIRE & SAFETY
- You are responsible for safeguarding your belongings on site.
- You are responsible for your group’s safety on site.
- There’s a fire extinguisher & a first aid kit on site.
- Please be aware of the normal minor risks of being out in the glorious countryside – uneven ground, rabbit holes, wire fences, the river & the troll who lives under the bridge.
- Ark Buffalo’s ‘Big Book of Info’ will be on hand detailing local surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals & more.
When you make your booking with us we’ll assume you’re all good with our Camp Rules, so make sure to share these round your group so we’re all on the same page!
YURT CAMP
CHECK-INS & OUTS
- Arrivals between 4 & 6pm
- Departures by 11am.
- Cars can be parked in front of the barn which is a 30 second walk from the site entrance. There are also cunning machines to transport your luggage if you need help carrying it.
SITE RULES
- The stoves, fire pit and barbecue are the designated places to make fires on site, don’t make fires anywhere else.
- No big parties or loud music – better for hearing the owls and other nice birds.
- Ball games in the meadow only, there’s loads of space to play there & less chance of flying footballs doing damage to the flower garden.
- The wall around the garden means that little kids and dogs can be kept in sight, but please make sure they don’t cross the fence / gate into the flower garden as the greenhouse has some sharp edges & there might be tools etc. lying about.
